How much does the PAYH program cost?
The main goal for the PAYH is to help struggling young men; we are a not for profit ministry. There is no getting around the fact that providing room, board, drug rehabilitation, and emotional guidance, as well as educating young men in a SACS accredited high school is expensive.
Here is the good news: we provide scholarships to every young man which totals over 82% of the total cost. What we ask you to pay is the remaining 18%, which we call tuition. The tuition parents are to pay for their son to attend the PAYH is $1,200 a month. This amount is significantly less expensive than what other programs ask you to pay.

Who makes up the difference between the cost and tuition?
We receive no financial assistance from the government, so we depend on the support of individuals, corporations, churches, and foundations, to fill in the financial gap between the tuition we ask parents to pay and the money required to operate our facility. Throughout the year, the Paul Anderson Ministries sponsors a number of activities, functions, and fundraising events in which we encourage parents, families, friends, and alumni to take part...from musicals and parenting conferences to golf tournaments, bike rides, and Anderson's Harvest merchandise sales. The more you help us raise awareness and support our efforts, the better we'll be able to serve you and your son's needs. Together we are partners in helping those who need us most.

How can I cover my share of the tuition costs?
As you consider placement, we encourage you to look at some immediate things that you might consider:
Financing: Student loans are an affordable option for parents who cannot meet the full amount of the tuition. Should you qualify, student loans provide a way for you to make low monthly payments over a determined period of time. We are approved for behavioral educational loans through Clark Behavioral Health Financing. Should you qualify, you can determine if taking a loan is the right choice for your family.
Family Members: We recognize that the behavior of your son has impacted more than just you as parents. Transforming your's life brings reconciliation and restoration in not only your own life but in your extended family as well. If your extended family members wish to help support your son by assisting with tuition, the Paul Anderson Youth Home is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit and their support is considered a tax-deductible gift.
Churches or Civic Groups: Don't forget the fact that each young man who enters the PAYH represents a community. A changed life has the potential to impact countless others, and the differences we see in "our young men" are truly life-changing. Be assured that there are others in your community who share the same desire as you in this process and would be willing to provide support to help meet the costs of tuition. Depending on your circumstances, and your relationship with churches or civic clubs, they may be willing to help you.
Scholarships: Every young man that enters the PAYH program is given a scholarship of $5,000+. We are currently unable to offer full scholarships as those full scholarships have already been granted through 2009. You are still invited to ask about the availability of those scholarship funds but please understand if they are not available.
